Parquetry

Parquetry is a fancy word for a special kind of floor design made of geometric shapes. Imagine if you had a big pile of different shaped wooden blocks - some were rectangles, some were triangles, some were squares, and some were diamonds. The result is a beautiful, elegant floor that can last for hundreds of years if it's taken care of properly!
