Particle physics and representation theory

Particle physics is a type of science that studies how the smallest parts of the universe work. These smallest parts of the universe are called particles, and they all have different properties that make them unique, like their size, shape, and mass. Representation theory is a mathematical tool that helps us better study these particles and their properties. Representation theory helps scientists identify patterns and relationships between different particles, so they can make more sense of them and figure out how they interact with each other in the universe.
