Paschimottanasana

Paschimottanasana is a yoga pose that can help you stretch your legs, back, and belly. To do this pose, sit on the ground with your legs straight out in front of you. Take a deep breath in and lift your arms up towards the ceiling. Then, as you exhale, slowly bend forward from your hips and reach for your ankles or toes with your hands.

It's important to keep your knees straight and your back as flat as possible. If you can't reach your toes, don't worry! Just reach as far as you can without causing any pain. You can also use a strap or towel to help you reach your toes.

When you're in this pose, take slow, deep breaths and try to relax your body. You may feel a stretch in your hamstrings, calves, lower back, or even your shoulders. If you feel any discomfort, come out of the pose slowly and gently.

Paschimottanasana can help improve flexibility, calm the mind, and reduce stress. Practice this pose regularly and your body will feel more relaxed and energized.
