ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Uttanasana

Uttanasana is a yoga pose that involves bending forward from the hips while standing up. So basically, you stand up straight and tall like a tree, and then you lean forward towards the ground like a waterfall.

When you do this pose, you want to keep your legs and back nice and straight, while your head and arms hang down towards the ground. It's like you're trying to touch your toes without bending your knees.

Uttanasana is a great way to stretch out your hamstrings (the muscles in the back of your legs) and your back. It can also help calm your mind and relieve stress. Just make sure to take it slow and listen to your body, because everyone's body is different and you don't want to push yourself too hard!
