Passport of the European Union

A passport is like a special book that you use when you want to go to another country. Just like when you want to visit your friend who lives far away, you need to have a special paper that allows you to travel. A passport of the European Union is like a special passport for people who live in the European Union.

The European Union is a group of countries in Europe that have come together to work as one big team. Imagine this big team as a big house with many rooms, and every country in the group is a room in the house. When you have a passport of the European Union, it means that you are allowed to visit any room (country) in the house (European Union) without being stopped or asked too many questions.

The passport of the European Union has a special sign on it that tells other people in the European Union that you are from the same big team as they are. This sign is a circle of stars that are all yellow on a blue background. When you show this special passport at a border, the people working there know that you are allowed to enter because you belong to the same team.

Having a passport of the European Union is like having a magic ticket that lets you go almost anywhere in Europe without any problems. Everyone who lives in the team (European Union) can get one and use it to travel easily.
