Pastel (color)

Pastel colors are like the lightest and softest colors. Imagine you have a box of crayons and you pick the color yellow. Now, imagine if you mixed a little bit of white into that yellow color. That's what a pastel yellow would look like - very light and gentle on the eyes. Pastel colors are like that but for all colors like pink, blue, green and so on. They aren't as bright and bold as regular colors but they are still really pretty and calming to look at. People like to use pastel colors for things like painting, drawing, and even decorating their bedroom because they feel peaceful and relaxing.
