Pasture

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a big field with lots of different plants and grasses growing in it, where cows or horses are grazing and eating the plants? That's called a pasture.

It's like the animal's dining room, where they get to eat fresh food and take in all the nutrients they need to be healthy.

Pastures can come in all shapes and sizes, and they can be found on farms, ranches or open fields.

Farmers and ranchers take care of the pastures by making sure the grass and plants grow properly, and sometimes they even rotate the animals to different areas of the field so the grass has time to regrow.

So, a pasture basically is a big yummy buffet for animals to eat, and it's the job of farmers and ranchers to keep it healthy and growing.
