Paternity Court

Okay, kiddo, so paternity court is a place where people go when they need to figure out who the daddy is. Sometimes, when a baby is born, no one is sure who the dad is. That's where paternity court comes in. The judge in the paternity court listens to the evidence and tries to figure out who the dad is.

Families go to paternity court when they need to figure out things like child support or custody. Sometimes, one person thinks they are the dad, but the other person isn't sure. They might need to do some tests to figure out if the person really is the daddy or not.

The judge will listen to both sides and look at all the evidence. Sometimes, they might ask the dad to take a DNA test. This test can tell us for sure if the person really is the dad or not.

Once they figure out who the daddy is, they can decide things like how much child support the dad should pay or who gets to spend time with the baby. It's a really important court because it helps families figure out what's best for the baby.
