Patois

Patois is a language. It is often a mixture of different kinds of languages. For example, sometimes it mixes English and French, or English and African languages. People who speak patois usually come from certain parts of the world, or are descendants of people from those parts of the world. Patois is not normal, everyday language, but it is used by some people when they talk with each other.
