Patriotic hacking is a type of computer hacking that is used to help protect a country or group from harm. It can involve getting into computer systems and networks to find information about people or organizations that might be a threat to the country or group. Patriotic hackers might also try to stop malicious attacks from happening by finding weaknesses in computer systems or networks so they can be strengthened before those attacks can be successful. Sometimes, patriotic hackers will also help spread positive messages about their country or group on the internet, or help mentor young people in computer or coding skills to help strengthen the country or group.
