Paul Virilio

Paul Virilio was a French philosopher. He studied how new technologies, like cars and airplanes, changed how people move around and interact with each other. He also studied how new technology affects the way people experience different kinds of speed, like the speed of information or the speed at which we can travel around the world. He said that new technology can lead to a "cultural shock" and that it can be used in ways that are not necessarily good for society.
