Peasant

Okay kiddo, do you know what a farmer is? Well, a peasant is like a farmer, but a long, long time ago.

Back in the olden days, people didn't have machines and cool technology to help them farm the land. So, peasants were people who worked very hard every day to grow crops, take care of animals, and do other hard jobs on the farm.

Peasants usually lived in small houses or huts made of mud, straw, or other natural materials. They didn't have a lot of extra money or fancy things, but they had enough to survive and take care of their families.

Peasants were an important part of society because they produced food for everyone. They also had to pay taxes to the king or queen who ruled over their kingdom.

So basically, a peasant is a person who worked very hard on the farm a long time ago and didn't have a lot of fancy things or money, but they were important because they produced food for everyone.
