Pediatric nursing is when nurses take care of kids who are sick or hurt. Just like when you go to the doctor when you are sick, kids go to the hospital to see a pediatric nurse. The pediatric nurse makes sure that the kids are comfortable and feeling okay, helps them take their medicine, and talks to their parents about what they can do at home to make them feel better. Pediatric nurses are very special because they have lots of training on how to take care of kids of different ages and how to make them feel less scared when they are in the hospital. They are like superheroes who use their special powers to help kids feel better!
