Penang Bridge

The Penang Bridge is a really big bridge that connects the island of Penang to the mainland in Malaysia. It's like a giant road in the sky that cars and trucks can drive on to get from one place to another.

It was built a long time ago, in the 1980s, and it took a lot of hard work to make it. People had to plan and design the bridge first, and then they had to gather all the materials they needed to build it. This included a lot of steel and concrete!

They had to build tall towers called pylons to hold up the bridge, and then they connected long cables to the pylons to make the bridge strong. This made the bridge look like a big spider web in the sky!

Once the bridge was done, people started using it to get from the island to the mainland. It made it a lot easier for people to travel and move things around because they didn't have to take a ferry anymore.

The Penang Bridge really is an amazing feat of engineering!
