ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Permeability (spatial and transport planning)

Permeability is when it is easy for people and vehicles to move from one place to another, so they can get to where they want to go without any obstacles. Spatial and transport planning is designing how a city should be set out to help people and vehicles move around it easily. It includes things like planning how roads should be placed, how wide the roads should be, and how people can get around using public transport. This makes it easier for people to get around, and helps keep the traffic from getting too backed-up!
