Perpetual stew

Perpetual stew is like having a big pot of soup cooking on the stove all the time, but instead of throwing out the leftovers, you keep adding to it and never let it stop cooking.

Imagine you cooked some delicious soup for dinner and had some leftovers. Instead of throwing it out, you add it to the pot of soup and let it cook all night. The next day, you add some more vegetables and maybe some meat, and let it cook again. You keep doing this over and over, always letting it cook, always adding new ingredients, so the soup never stops simmering.

Now, you might be thinking, "Won't the soup get gross after a while?" And that's a good question. But because the soup is always cooking, the heat kills off any bacteria that might grow in it. Plus, you keep adding fresh ingredients, so it never gets old or stale.

People have been making perpetual stew for centuries, especially in countries where food is scarce. It's a great way to make sure nothing goes to waste and you always have a warm meal ready to go. So next time you're making soup, why not try making a perpetual stew instead?
