Persecution of Christians

Persecution of Christians means that people who are Christian (followers of Jesus) are treated unfairly or sometimes even hurt because of their beliefs. It can happen when other people in their communities or countries don't like the fact that they are Christian and want them to stop believing in Jesus. They might not let them practice their beliefs or threaten them with violence. It can also happen through laws that make it hard for Christians to do things like go to church or read the Bible. Persecution of Christians can also take the form of discrimination, where people don't give them the same rights or opportunities as others.
