Persecution of people with albinism happens when people with albinism are treated badly or unfairly because of their condition. Many places around the world have certain beliefs about people with albinism, and these beliefs often lead to people attacking and hurting people with albinism. For example, some people believe that people with albinism bring bad luck, so they might attack them or try to harm them in bad ways. People with albinism can also be discriminated against in school, at work, or in the community. People might make fun of them, exclude them, or not give them chances that other people get. All of these bad things are wrong and not ok. Everyone should be respected and treated fairly, no matter what their skin color or any other part of them looks like.
