Peter Adolf Thiessen

Peter Adolf Thiessen was a smart man who lived a long time ago. He was really good at understanding how electricity and light work. He knew that different materials could conduct electricity better or worse than others, and he studied this a lot. He also found out that some materials could give off light when you applied electricity to them. This is called phosphorescence.

Peter Adolf Thiessen's work helped other scientists learn more about how electricity and light work. They were able to make better things like light bulbs and electronics because of his discoveries. Even though Peter Adolf Thiessen is not alive anymore, his work is still important today!
