Peter's Pence

Peter's Pence is like a piggy bank that people put money in to help the Pope. The Pope is the leader of the Catholic Church, and he needs money to help people who are in trouble or need help. People around the world put money in this piggy bank to make sure the Pope has enough money to spread hope and love everywhere. It is named after Saint Peter, who was one of Jesus' closest friends and is considered the first Pope. So when people give money, it is called Peter's Pence.
