Pharaoh

Pharaoh is a fancy word that means "king" in ancient Egypt. In ancient Egypt, pharaohs were really important rulers who people believed had a special connection with the gods. They were in charge of the whole country, kind of like the boss of everyone. Pharaohs had a lot of wealth and power, and they were worshiped like gods by the people of Egypt. They also made important decisions like building big tombs for themselves, called pyramids, and leading the army in battles to keep their country safe. In general, pharaohs were really cool people who everyone respected and looked up to.
