However, something very bad happened on the plane. A man named Ramzi Yousef, who was not supposed to be on the plane, had secretly put a bomb on board before everyone got on.
When the plane was in the air and flying over the ocean, the bomb exploded. The explosion was very big and caused a lot of damage to the airplane. It also killed one person and injured many others. The pilots had to work very hard to land the plane safely in Okinawa, Japan.
