Philosophy of war

Philosophy of war is the way we think about war. It is about understanding why people fight, what the purpose of war is, and how to do it in the most fair and humane way. It is about understanding that sometimes war is necessary for a country or people to protect themselves, and knowing when and how to use it. It is about understanding the effects of war - both negative and positive - and knowing how to minimize the damage.
