The photomagnetic effect is a special kind of energy that comes from light when it's near a magnet. It's a bit like when you put a spoon near a magnet and it moves, but with light it's a bit different. When light is close to a magnet, it can cause the magnet to move or be attracted to the light. This is called the photomagnetic effect. The light makes electrons around the magnet start to move and because of some science-y stuff, the magnet ends up moving.
