Phreaking box

A phreaking box is a device used to make phone calls for free. When you make a phone call, you usually have to pay money. But people who use phreaking boxes can make calls without paying.

It works like this: the phreaking box tricks the phone company into thinking that the call is coming from a different place, so they don’t charge the person making the call.
