Pickpocketing

Pickpocketing is when someone takes something out of your pocket or purse without you knowing. It's like when you take a cookie from the cookie jar without asking your mom. But, instead of cookies, the pickpocket might take your money, phone, or even your keys.

Pickpockets are really sneaky and try to do it without anyone noticing. Sometimes they might bump into you or distract you while they take something from your pocket. It's important to always keep an eye on your things and hold onto them tightly in busy places like the mall or on the bus.

If you think someone might be a pickpocket, don't confront them. Instead, quickly move away and tell an adult who can help you. And remember, if you see something, say something!
