ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Picocell

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a phone tower? It's like a really tall pole that sends signals to our phones so we can make calls and use mobile data.

A picocell is like a teeny tiny version of a phone tower. It's small enough to fit inside buildings, like stores or offices.

Sometimes, when lots of people are using their phones in a small area, like a busy city street or a crowded mall, the big phone towers outside can get overloaded and our calls might be fuzzy or our internet might be really slow.

That's where the picocell comes in - it helps our phones connect better in these small spaces by giving off its own signals.

So think of it like a little helper tower that lives inside buildings to make sure we can always talk and text and play games on our phones without any problems!
