Pie iron

Alright kiddo, so have you ever had a delicious toasted sandwich? Well a pie iron is kind of like that, but for making yummy pies and treats over a fire or a stove. It's usually made of metal and has two parts that come together to make a sandwich-like shape. The inside part of the pie iron is where you put your ingredients, like pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni for a pizza pocket, or pie filling like apples and cinnamon or s'mores ingredients. Once you've filled it up, you clamp the two parts of the pie iron together and put it over a fire or on a stove to toast it up. It's like a mini oven, but instead of using electricity, you're using heat from the fire! Once it's ready, you can pop out your tasty treat and enjoy!
