Okay kiddo, so Pilate's court was a big and important room where a man named Pontius Pilate used to do his job. His job was to be a very important ruler in a place called Judea.
One day, some people brought a man named Jesus to Pilate's court because they didn't like him and wanted to get rid of him. Jesus didn't do anything wrong, but these people wanted to make sure Pilate would punish him anyways.
So, Pilate asked Jesus a bunch of questions to try and figure out if he did anything bad. But Jesus said he was innocent and didn't deserve to be punished.
Even though Pilate felt like Jesus didn't do anything wrong, he still decided to punish him because he was scared of what the other people would do if he didn't. So, he let them punish Jesus even though he knew it wasn't fair.
That's the story of Pilate's court, where an innocent man named Jesus was punished even though he did nothing wrong.
