Pilot logbook

Okay kiddo, imagine you have a special notebook where you write down all the cool places you've gone and fun things you've done. A pilot has a special notebook like that too called a logbook!

In a pilot logbook, they write down important things about every flight they take. They write down when they flew, where they went, how long they were in the air, and lots of other details.

Why is this important? Well, pilots need to show that they have flown a certain number of hours to get new licenses or jobs. They also need to keep track of their flights to make sure their plane is working properly and to remember any important information about their flights.

Just like your notebook helps you remember all the cool things you've done, a pilot's logbook helps them remember all the flights they've taken and how to be a better pilot!
