Pinochetism

Pinochetism is a kind of government that existed in Chile under the rule of General Augusto Pinochet. When General Pinochet came to power, he created a country ruled by military power, which meant he had a lot of control over what happened in Chile. Pinochetism was a style of government where people had limited freedom and didn't have many options to dissent or speak up against the government. The government made sure people followed their rules through censorship, police control, and sometimes even violence. Pinochetism controlled the media, people's lives, and the economy, and made sure people followed their laws.
