Pinwheel tiling
Pinwheel tiling is like playing with puzzle pieces to make a really cool pattern on your floor or wall.
Imagine you have a bunch of triangles and you want to fit them together to make a bigger triangle. But not just any triangle, a triangle with a bunch of other little triangles on the sides.
First, you take one triangle and put it in the middle. Then you take three more triangles and put them around it, but you have to turn them a little bit so they fit together like a puzzle.
Next, you take three more triangles and put them around those triangles, but this time you turn them the opposite way so they fit together too. Keep doing this over and over again until you have a big triangle with a bunch of tiny triangles decorating the sides.
