Pirate studies

Pirate Studies is a type of research about pirates. People who study pirates try to learn about what pirates did, what their lives were like, and what happened to them. They look at pirate stories and documents, like journals and letters, to figure out what happened. They also look at ships and old maps to try and find out where pirates sailed and buried their treasure. Pirate Studies can tell us a lot about pirate life and their culture.
