Pirozhki are like little pockets of food that you can hold in your hand! They come from Russia and they're made of dough that's been rolled out and filled with yummy foods like ground meat, vegetables or cheese.
Imagine you're playing with play-dough and you make a little ball of dough. You squish it down into a flat circle and then you put a piece of cheese or carrot inside. You fold the edges of the circle up and then pinch it shut like a little purse.
Once you finish filling and folding all of your little pieces of dough, you bake them in the oven until they're nice and golden brown. When they're done, you can hold them in your hand and take little bites to enjoy the delicious filling inside!
