Plant density

Plant density is the amount of plants that are growing in a certain area. Imagine you are outside looking at an open grassy field. In a field with high plant density, there would be lots of plants packed close together. In a field with low plant density, there would be fewer plants spread farther apart. Plant density is important because it helps us understand how many plants are growing in an area and how close together they are.
