Pod slurping

Pod slurping is a mischievous act where someone who has access to information technology data storage devices within an organization, such as USB drivves, downloads very important data without permission onto them. These devices work like ice cream cones, where the pod slurper can sneakily collect data onto the USB drive for their own use or to sell to others. This act may put the company's valuable or sensitive data at risk. It is therefore essential that organizations keep track of access to their data, monitor storage devices and set up strategies to prevent such behavior from happening.
