Political culture of the United States

Political culture of the United States means how American people understand the government and their role in it. It is about how Americans think about different issues, like voting, taxes, laws, and how people should be treated. In the United States, people believe in democracy, or 'rule by the people'. That means citizens have the right to choose their leaders, vote on laws, and have a say in how the country is run. People also believe in freedom, or the right to express their opinions and beliefs without fear of punishment or judgement. Another part of the political culture of the United States is being open to change. Many people in the United States believe that over time, laws and customs can change, to better reflect the values of the people.
