Political quietism

Political quietism is when people do not get involved in politics or the political process. It means that someone is not trying to shape the government or its policies in any way, even if they don't agree with them. Instead, they simply accept whatever is happening without getting involved in any way. This can be because they believe that it is better to stay out of politics and leave it up to other people to make decisions, or they may be afraid to speak out or take a stand because of potential consequences.
