Pollutant

Okay, so imagine that the air, water, and soil around us are like a big, beautiful playground. Now, sometimes there are things that get into the air, water, and soil that can make them dirty and not safe to play in. These things are called pollutants.

Pollutants can come from lots of different places, like cars, factories, and even when we burn trash. They can be things like chemicals, smoke, or even just trash that doesn't belong there. When there are too many pollutants in the air, water, and soil, it can make it hard for plants, animals, and even people to stay healthy.

So, it's important for us to try and make sure we don't let too many pollutants get into our environment so that we can all enjoy a clean and safe playground for everyone to play in.
