Pork

Pork is a type of meat that comes from pigs. Pigs are animals that are kinda like big and fuzzy versions of our pet dogs.

When people want to eat pork, they usually get it from a grocery store, butcher shop, or pig farm. The pork comes in different parts like bacon, sausage, ham, and pork chops. These parts come from different parts of the pig's body.

Before people can eat the pork, it needs to be cooked. This usually means putting it in an oven or skillet and heating it up until it's safe to eat. This is important because raw pork can have germs in it that can make people very sick.

Once the pork is cooked, people can use it to make all sorts of yummy meals like bacon and eggs for breakfast, pulled pork sandwiches for lunch, or pork chops for dinner. Some people even eat pork in other countries, like China, where they make yummy dishes using different parts of the pig, like pork buns!
