Pig farming

Pig farming is when people take care of pigs for different reasons like to sell them for food or keep them as pets. Farmers give pigs a safe and clean home called a sty. It is like a bedroom for the pigs. Pigs love to eat different types of food like grains, fruits, and vegetables. Farmers feed them the right amount of food so they stay healthy.

Pigs grow very fast and become big, so farmers take care of them. They clean the sty and give them a bath so they stay clean and healthy. They also give them medicine if they get sick, just like when you go to the doctor when you are not feeling well.

When the pigs are big enough and have grown to their full size, the farmers sell them to people who want to eat the pig's meat called pork. The meat from the pig is very good for us and is filled with protein that helps our body grow and stay healthy.
