Portuguese School of Equestrian Art

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen horses doing a dance with their riders? That's called "equestrian art." The Portuguese School of Equestrian Art is a place where people go to learn and perform this kind of horse dancing.

The school is in Portugal, which is a country in Europe. It's a really old school that's been around for hundreds of years. People from all over the world come to see the horses and riders perform their beautiful dance.

The horses at this school are very special. They're called Lusitanos, and they're from Portugal too. They have strong legs and shiny coats, and they're very smart. They learn how to do the dance steps and tricks with their riders.

The riders who perform with the horses are called "riders of the Portuguese School." They wear fancy outfits that are kind of like costumes. The horses wear special saddles and bridles that are decorated with pretty things like feathers and jewels.

When they're performing, the horses and riders move together like they're one big, graceful creature. The riders lead the horses through a bunch of different steps and moves, like turns and jumps. Sometimes the horses even stand up on their hind legs and do fancy poses!

It takes a lot of practice and hard work to learn how to do equestrian art like the Portuguese School. But it's really cool to watch and it's something that has been around for a very long time.
