Potentiometric sensor

A potentiometric sensor is like a tiny robot that can measure how much of something is in a liquid or gas. Imagine you have a cup of lemonade and you want to know how sour it is. You can use a potentiometric sensor to help you figure that out!

The sensor has a little arm with one end in the lemonade and the other end connected to a computer. The arm is coated with a special material that reacts when it touches the lemonade. This reaction changes the electrical signal that is sent to the computer.

The computer then uses this signal to figure out how much sourness there is in the lemonade. It does this by comparing the electrical signal to other signals that it knows are related to sourness.

So, in short, a potentiometric sensor is a tool that uses science and electricity to help measure things in liquids or gases.
