Power center (retail)

Okay kiddo, a power center is like a big group of stores all together in one area. It's like a giant shopping mall, but it usually has stores that sell things like home goods, electronics, or even groceries.

Now imagine if you went to a regular store with only one or two other stores nearby. You might only find a few things you need there, right? But at a power center, there are many stores all in one place, so you can find a lot more of what you need in one visit.

Plus, because all these stores are in one place, people often come from far away to do their shopping there. That means the stores can sell more things and make more money, which is good for them.

So a power center is basically a big shopping area where you can find lots of different stores all at once.
