Power ramp

Okay kiddo, imagine you're riding your bike up a big hill that gets steeper and steeper as you go. It's hard work to keep pedaling and you start to slow down. But suddenly you see a downhill slope that starts after the top of the hill.

That's kind of like what happens with power ramp. Power ramp is when an electronic device, like a computer or a phone, builds up its strength slowly until it reaches a certain point where it can operate at full power.

Just like with your bike going up the hill, the device has to work harder and harder until it's ready to go really fast. Once it reaches that specific point, it operates at full power and can perform all its functions quickly and smoothly like going downhill.

So, power ramp is just a fancy way of saying that a device takes some time to gear up and gain the power required to operate at maximum capacity.
