Telecommunications is the use of technology to send messages, pictures, and sounds over long distances. It's kind of like sending a message using special pathways, like a secret telephone line! It might sound like something out of a movie, but telecommunications is actually all around us – our phones, televisions, and computers can all use telecommunications to send and receive information.
