Pre-Marx socialists

Pre-Marx socialists were people who believed that everyone should have the same amount of wealth and no one should have more than anyone else. They believed that this could be achieved through having a government that was responsible for taking care of people and making sure no one was wealthier than anyone else. They thought this would create more fairness and equality.
