Preorder Economy

A preorder economy is when people pay for something before they get it. For example, if you buy a toy in a store, you usually pay for it when you get it. But with a preorder economy, you pay for it before you get it. This means that the company that is selling the toy can create the toy in advance, since they already have the money. That way, they can make sure they have enough toys to meet demand and there won't be any surprises when the toys arrive!
