Have you ever seen a really important person surrounded by a group of strong and serious people? That's because they are their bodyguards! The President of a country is a very important person and needs special people to protect them. The President's Bodyguard is a group of specially trained soldiers who protect the President of India & the President's Residence, which is called Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The President's Bodyguard is formed by soldiers from the Indian Army and they wear very special uniforms that make them easy to recognize. They wear dark blue pants and a bright red coat with golden buttons. They also wear a tall black hat called a turban, which is covered with a golden chain that makes them look very fancy.
When the President goes out, the Bodyguards ride horses and walk alongside the car to make sure nobody gets too close. They also have a special drill where they move and march in unison, which is called 'The Changing of Guard Ceremony'.
In a way, the President's Bodyguard is like a superhero squad, just like how Batman needs Robin to help him fight bad guys. The President needs the Bodyguards to protect him and make him feel safe.
