Primary stage of socialism

Primary stage of socialism is when a country is trying to switch from a capitalist form of government, which is a government where people own a lot of things, to a socialist form of government. This means that the government is taking control of some of the things that people own, like factories and land, and using it as a way to make sure everyone has enough money and resources. This can also mean that the government sets up things like health care and education which are available to everyone, not just those who can afford it.
